CNC Lathe Machine Operator - day shift in Indianapolis, IN at Diverse Staffing

Job Description

Diverse Staffing is now accepting CNC Skilled Machine Lathe Operators applicants for immediate hire for a temp to hire position.  In this job, you will work for our client at a facility on the east side of Indianapolis, IN.  This position pays up to $23.00/hr and is a Day shift position. You will report to work between 7am and 5:30pm, Monday- Thursday.

Our client provides its customers with precision machining services of the highest caliber.

 The following in an example of some of the tasks you may be asked to perform daily working at this position: 

    • Knowledge of materials i.e. nickel alloys
    • Knowledge of tooling i.e. inserts, boring bars
    • Knowledge of inspection tooling i.e. calipers, mics, height gage
    • Knowledge of G & M codes (editing/programming) at the control
    • Mastercam Knowledge is a plus

Job Requirements

  • At a minimum, 1 year CNC experience
  • Good attendance record
  • Reliable transportation to arrive at work on time
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. 
  • Walk, stand, and/or sit for an entire shift
  • Grasp grip, reach, pull, push, bend, squat, kneel or balance
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment
