Diverse Staffing is now accepting Fabric Spreader/ Cutter applicants for immediate hire for a temporary to hire position.  In this job, you will work for our client at a facility in Archdale, NC. This position pays up to $12.50/hr. and is a 1st shift position. You will report to work between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

A Fabric Spreader/ Cutter for our team on this assignment will be asked to lift rolls of fabric and set into machines. You will spread fabric and then assist in cutting it manually.

 The following in an example of some of the tasks you may be asked to perform daily working at this position: 

    • Rolling out & cutting fabric (tape measure knowledge a MUST)

    • Inserting rolls into machines.

    • Matching up fabric patterns.

Job Requirements

    • Ability to stand for long periods while operating between machines.

    • Ability to maintain a good attendance record

    • Ability to read and interpret a tape measure

    • Reliable transportation to arrive at work on time everyday

    • Basic reading, writing, and math skills.

    • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. unassisted

    • Walk, stand, and/or sit for an entire shift

    • Grasp grip, reach, pull, push, bend, squat, kneel or balance

    • Ability to work well with others in a team environment
