Job Description

Diverse Staffing is now accepting Reach Truck Operator applicants for immediate hire. This is a temp-to-hire position. In this job, you will work for our client at a facility in Franklin, Indiana. This position pays up to  $18.75/hr and is an 8th shift position. You will report to work Saturday and Sunday from 5:00 am - 5:30 pm and then two days during the week with 7th shift hours (5:00 am - 1:30 pm).

A Reach Truck Operator for our team on this assignment will be asked to receive, store, and distribute products in refrigerated and/or frozen rooms within a warehouse.

The following is an example of some of the tasks you may be asked to perform daily working in this position: 

  • Reach Truck experience preferred
  • Case picking
  • Loading/unloading trailers
  • Pulling pallets out of racking. 
  • Putting pallets away in racking
  • Ability to withstand cold temperatures for the entire shift

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED 
  • Must submit to a criminal background search and pre-employment drug screen
  • Carry out assignments from management with minimal direction
  • Work in temperatures of 28 degrees or colder for the entire shift
  • Reliable transportation to arrive at work on time
  • Good attendance record
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. often
  • Walk, stand, and/or sit for an entire shift
  • Grasp, grip, reach, pull, push, bend, squat, kneel or balance
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment
