Job Description

Diverse Staffing is now accepting Stand-Up Forklift Operators applicants for immediate hire for a temp to hire position.  In this job, you will work for our client at a facility in Plainfield, IN.  This position pays up to $16.50/hr and is a Day shift position. You will report to work between 6:00 pm and 6:00 am.

$100 bonus available! Perfect attendance!

Our client is the world’s leading producer of wet wipes, creating wipes for just about anything that requires cleaning, sanitizing or disinfecting. A Stand-up Forklift Operator for our team on this assignment will be ask to properly and effectively operate a stand-up forklift to handle material in the shipping department.

 The following in an example of some of the tasks you may be asked to perform daily working at this position: 
  • Assist with material handling
  • Work in a team environment
  • Have flexibility to work any day of the week

Job Requirements

  • Clean criminal background 
  • High school diploma or GED
  • At a minimum, 6 months forklift experience
  • Good attendance record
  • Reliable transportation to arrive at work on time
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. 
  • Walk, stand, and/or sit for an entire shift
  • Grasp grip, reach, pull, push, bend, squat, kneel or balance
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment
