Job Description

Diverse Staffing is currently seeking Forklift Operators for immediate hire. You will work at a client facility in Tupelo, MS. This position pays $13.50 per hour to start as a long-term temporary associate. You will work a rotating schedule, two days on, two days off, two week days and two week nights and every other weekend.


A Forklift Operator for our team on this assignment should have experience driving an operator in a warehouse environment. You also should be familiar with using RF Scanning equipment.


Some of the tasks you can expect on a day-to-day basis include:




  • Manual pick for shipping




  • Order Picker, Reach, Sit down or Stand up Forklift operation




  • General warehouse labor such as sorting, stacking, wrapping and moving boxes and other packages or materials




  • Keeping a clean work area

Job Requirements



  • Must have steel toe boots or shoes




  • Ability to read and understand written directions




  • Trustworthy and capable of working with little supervision




  • Reliable transportation to arrive at work on time




  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills




  • Lift up to 40 lbs. as needed.




  • Walk, stand, and/or sit for an entire shift
