Job Description

Diverse Staffing is now accepting Loader applicants for immediate hire. This is a temp to hire position. In this job, you will work for our client at a facility in Indianapolis, IN. This position pays up to $15.00/hr. and is a 1st shift position. You will report to work between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM Monday – Friday plus overtime required on Saturdays. 

Our client for this position is a retail pharmacy chain that provides an assortment of brands in the health care industry.  

An Unloader for our team on this assignment will be asked to pack the merchandise in trays to fill orders for shipment to our client’s retail stores.

The following is an example of some of the tasks you may be asked to perform daily working in this position: 
  • Removing pallets, empty trays and store returns, and ensure each trailer is swept out prior to loading. 
  • Accurately load merchandise onto trailers, following established work instructions. 
  • Keep visual contact with the approaching line of totes and cases to avoid conveyor system back-up. 
  • Complete, after each trailer, daily worksheet describing tasks and work performed.
  • Ensure personal and facility compliance with company requirements as they relate to PSE, HazMat, HIPAA, etc.

Job Requirements

  • Related work experience preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and count accurately
  • Good attendance record
  • Reliable transportation to arrive at work on time
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs regularly; 100 lbs occasionally (team lifts)
  • Walk, stand, and/or sit for an entire shift
  • Grasp, grip, reach, pull, push, bend, squat, kneel or balance
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment
