Diverse Staffing is now accepting Machine Operator applicants for immediate hire. This is a temp to hire position. In this job, you will work for our client at a facility in La Vergne, TN. This position pays up to $14.00/hr. and is a first shift position. You will report to work between 7am and 4pm

Our client for this position is engaged in the business of manufacture and sale of automatic car parts. The products of the company include bushings, crimping rivets, and other spare parts in the shapes of square, hexagon, and oval. With their innovative products, growth seems endless and opportunities are at your fingertips! 

A Machine Operator for our team on this assignment will be asked to operate press assembly machines, oven, shot blaster, sorting machine, stamping press, drill/ tap machine. Cleaning line and future production equipment and machinery.

The following is an example of some of the tasks you may be asked to perform daily working in this position: 
  • Work in a fast pace/high performance environment
  • Efficiently operate machinery to meet customer demand
  • Small adjustments and repairs
  • General housekeeping as needed

Job Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience as a Machine Operator in a high-volume manufacturing facility
  • Mechanical aptitude 
  • Basic Troubleshooting 
  • Proficient in reading measuring instruments
  • Reliable transportation to arrive at work on time
  • Basic problem-solving skills.
  • Lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Walk, stand, and/or sit for an entire shift
  • Grasp, grip, reach, pull, push, bend, squat, kneel or balance
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment
  • Ideal candidate can be qualified as a Quality Control Technician in the future
