Job Description

Diverse Staffing is now accepting Machine Operator applicants for immediate hire for a temporary to hire position.  In this job, you will work for our client at a facility in Edinburgh, Indiana. This position pays up to $13.00/hr. and is a 2nd shift position. You will report to work between 4:30 PM and 1:00 AM.

Our client for this position offers an opportunity to work at a challenging yet rewarding company. The right candidate can be hired on after 30 only days if they maintain perfect attendance. Not only is early conversion an option, a raise and benefits can start as soon as they are hired on full time.     

                                 

A Machine Operator for our team on this assignment will be asked to Operate equipment safely and report problems immediately. Meet or exceed daily production levels. Control flow of materials. Perform all material handling functions, raw materials and finished goods. Determine correct shipping materials. Assist with inventory. Perform other duties assigned or directed. Must be flexible for over time. Must be able to stand for a minimum of 8 hours, in increments of 2 hours.

The following is an example of some of the tasks you may be asked to perform daily working in this position: 

  • Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds
  • Ensure machines are functional
  • Avoid passing defects to the next process
