Job Description

Diverse Staffing is now accepting applicants for immediate hire for an Maintenance. This position pays up to $20.00/hr and is a 2nd or 3rd shift position. 

Our client for this position is one of the largest suppliers of suspension and static seating solutions for heavyweight motorcycle, turf care, construction equipment, and agricultural vehicles, sport and utility vehicles, material handling, and mobility markets.

The following in an example of some of the tasks you may be asked to perform daily working at this position: 
  • Install, assemble, and test new machines and equipment
  • Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance and service for each piece of equipment
  • Inspect machines regularly for signs of malfunctions, including visual and sound inspections
  • Use a variety of power and hand tools to perform job functions
  • Complete repairs and parts replacements
  • Work effectively with other team members in a loud environment
  • Repair, install, adjust or maintain machines or vehicles
  • Complete written record of work performed

Job Requirements

  • Successful trade or vocational school completion
  • Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, or engineering specialties (preferred)
  • 2 years’ experience in one or more of the building trades
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong mechanical and manufacturing experience
  • Ability to walk, stand, and lift heavy objects for an extended period
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to act competently in emergencies
  • Working knowledge of two or more trades
