Job Description

Diverse Staffing is now accepting Picker applicants for immediate hire. This is a temp to hire position. In this job, you will work for our client at a facility in Louisville, KY. This position pays up to $12.25 and is a 2nd shift position. You will report to work between 3:00pm and 11:00pm. 

Our client for this position family owned injection molder of appliances parts, and other custom polymer components (ISO 9002 Certified) with five manufacturing facilities in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Monterrey, Mexico.

A Picker for our team on this assignment will be asked to package by hand a wide variety of products and materials for shipment.

The following is an example of some of the tasks you may be asked to perform daily working in this position: 
  • Utilize RF Scanner for all inventory and order fulfillment accurately and efficiently
  • Pull finished product from racks 
  • Containerize and skid finished product properly for shipment
  • Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by documentation on TPM sheet

Job Requirements

  • Must be able to read and understand written and/or verbal instructions
  • Ability to understand importance of activities and how they contribute to the achievement of quality objectives.
  • RFD scanner experience
  • Powered industrial vehicle experience
  • Must pass mandatory drug screen
  • Good attendance record
  • Reliable transportation to arrive at work on time
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
  • Lift up to 50lbs
  • Walk, stand, and/or sit for an entire shift
  • Grasp, grip, reach, pull, push, bend, squat, kneel or balance
  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment
