Diverse Staffing is now hiring! We are seeking an ambitious recruiter with experience in high-volume temporary staffing for light industrial, manufacturing, or clerical/call center industries. This direct hire position has a title of Senior Staffing Recruiter. You will work at our Columbus, IN. Recruiting Center. This is a full-time salaried position with benefits. Salary will be determined by personal experience and skill set. Starting base salary is up to $45,000 per year base plus performance-based commission.
This is a direct hire position with our company on our Staffing Services team. You will sometimes work above and beyond the typical 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday schedule. Most of our team members will work at least one evening per week and/or one Saturday per month may be required to meet client demands.
You will be responsible for order fulfillment through creation of effective sourcing strategies, recruitment, client relations, employee relations, and cost-of-service management. Your performance level is a key determinant of Diverse Staffing’s reputation in the marketplace.

Operational Duties:
- Develop knowledge regarding payroll processing for branch and execute each week
- Recruit, source, screen, interview, hire, train, and assign employees to open positions
- Understand our clients’ industries, work environments, and needs to effectively intake, confirm, and fill open orders, developing effective sourcing and screening strategies, and job profiles with prospective candidates
- Place employees on assignments in Applicant Tracking System once new hire paperwork has been completed and job offer has been accepted
- Close assignments with the appropriate code and add detailed notes in Applicant tracking system when an employee ends an assignment
- Manage the order lifecycle and meet customer expectations
- Answer incoming calls, assist candidates and employees as needed, and document any updates in Ultra Staff
- Perform drug screens and help process background checks on candidates
- Check voicemails and emails throughout the day and respond to candidates, employees, and customers accordingly
- Must be flexible with work hours, which may include early morning or evening customer check-in’s, being on call and working nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Use of personal vehicle will be required to travel between worksites and back to office, or other locations as needed
- Must be flexible to not only recruit, but also perform front office duties as needed
- Proactive communication and issue resolution with customers and Managers Client Services regarding status of open order requirements, employee, or service issues
- Identification of new sources for both active and passive candidates
- Investigate, manage, and resolve employee relations and grievance issues in a timely manner for billable employees; escalate to Corporate HR as needed
- Partner with Managers Client Services to develop further business and strengthen relationships with existing customers through quality delivery against customer needs and expectations
- Partner with Managers Client Services to proactively skill market candidates
Protect the interests of the employees and the company in accordance with company policies and governmental laws and regulations - Keep the Manager Staffing Services informed on progress for full book of business as well as any significant issues that may arise with employees or clients that require assistance
- Conduct company and customer new hire orientations with new employees
