Diverse Staffing, a 2021 Glassdoor Best Places to Work, is currently seeking an energetic professional to join our team as a Sourcing Services Director at our corporate office located in Indianapolis, IN. This position pays up to $100,000 per year base plus bonus potential.

The Sourcing Services Director at Diverse Staffing is responsible for overall strategy and delivery of candidates for internal positions in all service areas at all levels. This includes oversight for the Sourcing Services Team including direct supervision of the Sourcing Services Manager (s).  A successful Sourcing Services Director will demonstrate a strong background of success in management of direct-hire recruiting team(s) in a large-scale employment agency or similar corporate, multi-unit, environment with a strong emphasis on hiring and retaining sales and recruitment professionals.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Supervises a team of one or more Sourcing Services Manager(s), Specialists and Coordinator(s) as a hands-on “manage by example” leader.
  • Works with executive leadership to ensure dotted line supervision to Staffing Services Directors, 
  • Managers, Specialists, and Coordinators regarding sourcing and recruitment efforts for internal hires and end-to-end hiring process management.
  • Acts as a recruitment subject matter expert, defines standard operating procedures, team goals, and manages key performance indicators (KPI) attainment for Sourcing Services. 
  • Creates and implements all process mapping, training documentation and communication regarding sourcing for internal hires.
  • Works with Internal Hiring Managers and Executive Team to identify programs in most need of corporate support from corporate sourcing services team and prioritizes positions with Sourcing Services Managers.
  • Oversees creation and administrative management of the Open/Close/Refresh process for marketing internal positions and works closely with the Marketing Services team to engage resources needed for marketing to internal candidates.
  • Provides leadership to company at large regarding best practices for inbound and outbound communication for hiring internal candidates (Website, social media, Digital Advertising, other media).
  • Develop and lead cross functional teams in the development and execution of sourcing strategies and plans.
  • Manages vendor relationships for internal hires and back-up to Program Services Director regarding process compliance for all recruitment related software such as LinkedIn, Sense, Indeed, Career Builder’s Talent Network, and others as assigned.
  • Manages vendor relationships and compliance for all assessment and screening tools required for onboarding of internal hires (SHL/Talevation; Background Checks; Drug Screens). 
  • Drives analysis of category spend to identify opportunities to reduce total category spend utilizing savings levers.
  • Ensures ATS data integrity, consistently monitors reports for Source Effectiveness, Time to Hire, Team KPI, and Team MBO.
  • Coaches and develops internal hiring team; creates job aids, job descriptions, and training as assigned.
  • Flexible with work hours, which may include early morning or evening customer check-in’s, on call, working nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Uses personal vehicle on occasion to travel between worksites and back to office, or other locations as needed.
  • Meets or exceeds goals for both personal and team key performance indicators (KPI).
  • Implements and ensures Sourcing Services adheres to all company policies and guidelines set forth by executive or other corporate managed service areas, holding oneself and the team accountable for results.
  • Manages any issues or complaints in a timely and effective manner; “Manages by example” through personal work ethics and effort; escalates concerns to the Executive Team as need.
  • Other secondary and tertiary duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in human resources, business, or marketing) or five or more years staffing management and recruiting experience 5-10 years of prior management experience in a recruitment-focused environment; requiring hands on management and coaching
  • 5 or more years management in an employment agency and/or managing human resources corporate recruiting team (i.e., sales, customer service, account management, consulting, service industry, etc.)
  • Excellent people skills; able to interact in a respectful manner with a diverse population of colleagues, clients, and job applicants; leveraging active listening skills and paying attention to cues from reading their audience
  • Proven communication skills: able to convey one’s message in a clear, concise, and professional manner, considering one’s audience, in all forms of media (i.e., voicemail, phone, email, face-to-face) and manage conflicts and disagreements constructively
  • Proficient multi-tasking capabilities; able to prioritize multiple client job requisitions, software and business processes while remaining compliant with policies and delivering against deadlines
  • Proven ability for strategic review of multi-channel performance
  • Expert problem-solving skills: able to identify key aspects of a problem, gather appropriate information, determine potential causes, and specify alternative solutions
  • Strong attention to detail; demonstrating attentiveness to all aspects of a task or process, alert and accurate
  • Able to occasionally travel for recruitment meetings, college visits, and career fairs and maintain a flexible work schedule.
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment and Microsoft Office software

The following represents additional preferred skills, competencies, experiences for consideration:

  • Prior experience directing management in a staffing setting
  • PHR or SPHR certified is a plus
  • PMP or Six Sigma certification helpful
  • MBA or similar master’s level degree
