Job Description

Diverse Staffing is seeking an ambitious Staffing Coordinator to work on our internal team at our Lebanon, IN Recruiting Center. As an In-House Temporary Staffing Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to provide best-in-class customer service for our customers and temporary employees by continuing, building, and exceeding customer satisfaction. Compensation for this position is up to $16.00 per hour.  This is a full-time 1st shift position. Daily work hours are between 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. 

The following represents the essential job functions but is not intended to be fully inclusive of additional job responsibilities that may be assigned by your supervisor as needed.
  • Responsible for the operation of a multi-line telephone system and routing calls in a prompt and courteous manner
  • Open switchboard promptly at 8:00 AM and close switchboard at precisely 5:00 PM daily, unless instructed otherwise by the supervisor
  • Greet visitors from the reception area
  • Review employee applications to ensure that paperwork is completed and free of errors
  • Enter data into the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Partner with Staffing Services team to coordinate delivery, collection, and data entry into ATS for all candidate screening, training, and on-boarding process documentation
  • Coordinate candidate activity flow for office including maintenance of daily testing, screening, and interview schedule
  • Coordinate with the Staffing Services team to compile and submit branch payroll and distribute any weekly manual payroll checks/debit cards
  • Assist with all aspects of the employment process
  • Responsible for branch inventory

  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) a plus
  • Prior experience managing the front reception area of a professional office environment
  • Prior experience working with private and confidential information
  • Prior experience assisting with payroll related responsibilities

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Experience in a professional Customer Service environment
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent administrative skills such as data entry, copying, scanning, event coordination, and mass mailings
  • Strong proficiency in a Microsoft Windows environment and with Microsoft Office software
  • Proven communication skills; able to convey one’s message in a clear, concise, and professional manner considering one’s audience in all forms of media (i.e. voicemail, phone, email, face-to-face) 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to interact in a respectful manner with a diverse population of colleagues, clients, and job applicants by leveraging active listening skills and paying attention to cues from reading one's audience
  • Proficient multi-tasking capabilities; able to prioritize multiple client job requisitions, software, and business processes while remaining compliant with policies and delivering against deadlines
