Diverse Staffing, a Glass Door Places to Work, is seeking ambitious Staffing Services Coordinator candidates who are fluent in Spanish and English to work on our internal team at our Memphis, TN Recruiting Center. 

As the first face when entering our recruiting center, the Bi-Lingual Staffing Services Coordinator will champion our best-in-class customer service in person and by phone.  This position requires good organizational skills, strong attention to detail and overall administrative acumen. Compensation for this position is up to $17.00 per hour or $36,000/year based on experience and skill set. Your work will start promptly at 8:00 AM through 5:00 PM Monday - Friday,  but may occasionally require some flexibility for work outside those hours based on customer needs.

Here are a few of the responsibilities you'll be tasked with as a Staffing Services Coordinator: 

  • Operation of a multi-line telephone system and routing calls in a prompt and courteous manner
  • Greeting applicants and other visitors from the reception area coordinating activity flow in the office for maintenance, daily testing
  • Work with Staffing Services Specialists to coordinate data entry into ATS for all candidate screening, training, and on-boarding process documentation
  • Coordinating candidate activity flow for office including maintenance of work assessments screening, and interview schedule
  • Coordinate assigned tasks related to timecards, payroll, branch payroll and employment verification, background checks, status reviews and other business related objectives elevating to the Staffing Services Manager as needed
  • Assist with administrative duties such as data entry, copying, faxing, scanning, event coordination, and mass mailings
  • Take accurate messages and route to various teams as required
  • Sign for and receive all in-coming packages and distribute packages promptly upon receipt.
  • Straighten reception areas, including opening and closing the entryway each day

Job Requirements

    • High School diploma or GED
    • Fluent in both English and Spanish
    • Experience in a professional Customer Service environment
    • Experience in a staffing office (Receptionist or Coordinator)
    • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
    • Proven proficiency and accuracy with data entry and legible handwriting
    • Strong proficiency in a Microsoft Windows environment and with Microsoft Office software
    • Proven communication skills; able to convey one’s message in a clear, concise, and professional manner considering one’s audience in all forms of media (i.e. voicemail, phone, email, face-to-face) 
    • Proven ability to handle conflict constructively
    • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to interact in a respectful manner with a diverse population of colleagues, clients, and job applicants by leveraging active listening skills and paying attention to cues from reading one's audience
    • Proficient multi-tasking capabilities; able to prioritize multiple client job requisitions, software, and business processes while remaining compliant with policies and delivering against deadlines
    • Proven ability to arrive on time each day
