Diverse Staffing is a rapidly growing company, providing staffing services to a variety of clients across all industries.  To continue this growth, it is imperative that we deliver against customer requirements in an efficient, quality manner and provide excellent customer and employee relations.

We are currently seeking an experienced Tableau Reports Writer. The employee will work for Diverse Staffing at our Indianapolis, IN Corporate Office for this opportunity. Diverse embraces individuals with multi-lingual skills and an individual with Spanish language skills are encouraged to apply but it this is not required for the position.

This is a full-time, direct hire position on our internal team.  Compensation for this position is expected to reach to $90,000 per year depending upon experience.

This position requires flexibility in work hours as needed beyond the 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday schedule.

Job Duties:

 At Diverse our Tableau Reports Writer is an integral part of the success of our company. As our Tableau Reports Writer you will use your energy and training industry awareness to design and deliver industry leading dashboards, client reporting suites, and strategic staffing metrics to help our team make well informed decisions, develop stronger partnership with our client base and increase business awareness regarding the performance of our team members.

The following represents the essential job functions, but is not intended to be fully inclusive of additional job responsibilities that may be assigned as needed:

 Business Systems Liaison

Work collaboratively with subject-matter experts and members of management to perform a needs assessment and gather information to leverage in the creation of technical solutions to meet their demands  

Create Technical Solutions

Create technical solutions to business needs by translating their requirements and finding innovative resolutions; strategizing and assisting the team in visualizing before beginning on creating the application or solution 

Create Data Storage Tools

Create tools to store data effectively within the organization, as well as maintaining data analytics platforms so that data can effectively be mined for information at a later date 

Conduct Tests

Conduct unit tests and develop database queries to analyze the effects and troubleshoot any issues that arise as an ongoing part of the development process to identify any part of the application that isn’t working correctly

Improve Systems

Evaluating and improving existing systems that are in place as well as collaborating with teams within the business to integrate these new systems to streamline workflow and company processes

Develop Technical Documentation

Creating reports based on completed projects and develop and update technical documentation for senior members of staff and colleagues to serve as a reference guide

Continuous Technical Learner

Keep up to date on business information tools, trends, and ideas to effectively represent potential systems to management as well as stay abreast of expanding capabilities in our present systems to serve as the technical expert of such systems for our company

Job Requirements


Requirements:

Candidates must meet the following minimum job requirements to be deemed qualified for the position:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in IT, Computer Science, Instructional Design,) or equivalent work experience in a technology development role
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in delivering business reporting solutions
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the design of reporting solutions with a variety of technologies
  • Proven communication skills; able to convey one’s message in a clear, concise and professional manner, considering one’s audience, in all forms of media (i.e. voicemail, phone, email, face-to-face) and handles conflicts and disagreements constructively
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to interact in a respectful manner with a diverse population of colleagues; leveraging active listening skills and paying attention to cues from reading their audience
  • Proficient multi-tasking capabilities; able to prioritize multiple client job requisitions, software and business processes while remaining compliant with policies and delivering against deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail; demonstrating attentiveness to all aspects of a task or process, alert and accurate
  • Ability to work with little oversight
  • Able to travel to branch locations outside of Indiana to gather reporting requirement
    The following represents additional preferred skills, competencies, experiences for consideration:

  • Business Intelligence Technologies – (Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Oracle BI)
  • SQL Language – (SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS))
  • Data Analysis Tools – (Online analytical processing (OLAP), ETL frameworks)
