Job Description

Diverse Staffing is now accepting applicants for immediate hire for Welder positions.  In this job, you will work for our client at a facility in Litchfield, Mi. This position pays up to $16 and is a 1st  shift position. You will report to work between 6:00 am -3:30 pm.

 The following is an example of some of the tasks you may be asked to perform daily working at this position: 3

Summary:  Welds metal components together using MIG welding equipment to fabricate or repair products. 

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities include the following:
  • Weld to the specifications called out from print.
  • Maintain or excel the speed of an existing production weld line.   
  • Weld an accurate rendering of a customer’s part from print. 
  • Performs related tasks such as thermal cutting and grinding. 
  • Maintain welder equipment, set-up welding machine, changing tip and or nozzles as necessary.
  • Changing over wire for welding needs.
  • Perform tuning on heat and or wire as needed.

Job Requirements

  • Must be able to kneel, squat, bend at the waist, twist at the waist, and lift above and below shoulder level.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and/or stack product weighing in the range of 25- 50 lbs. relatively infrequently throughout a 9-hour shift
  • Must be able to stand and/or walk for 8 hours at a time.
