Job Description

DiverseGOV is currently seeking individuals qualified for an Administrative Support role, at the Southeast Regional Maintenance Center, Mayport Naval Station in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a full-time position and you will report to work Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 3:03 PM.


The security requirements are that you must be a US Citizen, clear a Tier 3 National Agency Check with local agency check and credit check security clearance investigation.


In this role you will support the preparing, transcribing, transferring, systematizing, and preserving both written and computerized communications and records; gathering and distributing information. The duties also include: operating office machines; storing, distributing, accounting for stores of materials. You will be required to support projects requiring research and preparation of briefing charts and other presentation materials; operating computerized business systems for the purposes of recording labor hour of the workforce; data entry and mining of business systems for the administration of ship repair and gathering performance metrics.


You qualify if you meet the following minimums:



  • Experience using Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Experience using Supervisory Desk (SUPDESK) Tool.

  • Experience using Business Objects Tool.

  • Experience using Material Requirements Application Tool (MRQT).

  • Ability to cover other teammates when they take vacation time.

  • You will perform the following support tasks: CLERICAL/ADMINISTRATIVE AND TIMEKEEPING SUPPORT TASKS

  • Perform administrative tasks, data entry and database updates in Supervisory Desk (SUPDESK), Navy Maintenance Database (NMD), TAAS-Info and Business Objects tools.


Clerical/Administrative Tasks and timekeeping tasks are as follows:



  • Prepare and maintain spreadsheets, charts and graphs

  • Prepare meeting minutes and presentations

  • File and records management

  • Enter, update and retrieve information utilizing automated systems

  • Prepare correspondence, instructions and memorandums

  • Assist in material ordering, pickup and delivery of supplies

  • Enter, update and retrieve information utilizing automated systems

  • Enter labor hours for department employees

  • Assist department in maintaining records of leave, attendance, and overtime
