Diverse Staffing is currently seeking Aluminum MIG Welders for immediate hire. Staff for these positions will work at a customer warehouse in Indianapolis, IN. This position pays $16.00 to $17.00/hour. This is a 1st shift position and you will be working from 7:00 AM until 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday and it is a temporary to hire position.

Headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, they serve customers through satellite locations in Nebraska, Ohio and a nationwide network of dealers. Products include a wide range of innovative tarp systems, Side Kits, and accessories for dump and flatbed trailers.

The Aluminum MIG Welder position is responsible for MIG welding aluminum and steel on a variety of trucking parts and in a manufacturing environment, under the supervision and direction of department production supervisor.

Essential Functions include:



  • Performs aluminum and steel welding operations to support the production floor. 

  • Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the team lead and department supervisor.

  • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.

  • Familiar with welding & fabrication concepts in order to perform the tasks stated above.

  • Able to operate a stand-up and sit-down forklift

  • Able to weld a finished product

Job Requirements



  • Two to three years of manufacturing related experience.

  • Two to three years of aluminum welding in a production environment

  • Strong understanding of safety and quality processes.

  • Good attendance, performance, and attitude

  • Reliable transportation to arrive at work on time

  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills

  • Able to frequently lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift and/move up to 50 lbs.  

  • Walk, stand, and/or sit for an entire shift (8-10 hours) 

  • Able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tool, or controls and to climb or balance

  • Strong ability to read a tape measure and blueprints

  • Occasionally exposed to a high level of heat/humidity conditions due to working in a non climate controlled facility.
