Job Description

Diverse Staffing is currently seeking Assembly Clerks. Staff for these positions will work at a client facility in Greenwood, IN. This position pays 13.75 per hour and there are 1st and 2nd shifts available.

The following in an example of some of the tasks you will perform daily working at this position:

Works from samples, drawings, verbal and/or written instructions using various

hand and power tools are used to perform the work.

• Assemble parts (mechanical and/or electronic) to form a complete unit or

subassembly at a bench, conveyor or assigned location.

• Perform visual inspection and functional testing during assembly operation.

• Operate multiple automated computer-based calibration rigs.

• Perform special calibrations

• Program customer specific parameters.

• Diagnose calibration failures and offer suggestions to the assembly team for

repairing units.

• Operate computer-based laser system for labeling meters.

• Prepare documentation packets to be packed with meters.

• Perform visual inspection and functional testing of meters.

• Maintain an accurate inventory in work cell, which includes physical storage.

• Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines and tools required to

accomplish daily tasks.

• Daily cleaning to maintain a neat and orderly work area.

• Additional duties or responsibilities may be assigned to accommodate

customer needs.

Job Requirements


High School Diploma/GED

Basic math, reading and comprehension (written and verbal) skills.

Basic computer skills required to operate various production software


Familiar with LEAN manufacturing practices.

Previous soldering experience.

Good attendance record

Reliable transportation to arrive at work on time

Basic reading, writing, and math skills

Walk, stand, and/or sit for an entire shift

Grasp grip, reach, pull, push, bend, squat, kneel or balance

Ability to work well with others in a team environment
