Diverse Staffing is currently seeking a highly motivated individual for a Business Development position who is ready to take on sales responsibilities from generating leads to closing sales. The ideal candidate will interact successfully with prospective and existing customers to meet all sales goals and exceed customer expectations.


This is a full-time, temporary to hire position offering an hourly salary ranging from $19.23 to $24.00 per hour and is a first shift, Monday through Friday position. You will be assigned to work with our client, in the Indianapolis market.

This individual will use their customer service, sales and technical skills and competitive nature for project and product sales.  This position offers the opportunity to become an important part of the sales and business development activities along with increasing responsibility and growth.


We are seeking an individual who is ready to take on a significant role in attracting and retaining clients through their sales abilities while they accumulate comprehensive product knowledge.  Daily activities will include communications with existing and prospective clients to determine needs, match clients with the right products, and perform other duties to successfully execute their responsibilities.

Job Requirements



  • Two years’ experience in sales, customer service, project development or marketing




  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or sales related field




  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to interact in a respectful manner with a diverse population of colleagues, clients and job applicants; leveraging active listening skills and paying attention to cues from reading their audience




  • Proven communication skills; able to convey one’s message in a clear, concise and professional manner, considering one’s  audience, in all forms of media




  • Proficient multi-tasking capabilities; able to prioritize multiple client job requisitions, software and business processes while remaining compliant with policies and delivering against deadlines




  • Proven problem solving skills; able to identify important aspects of a problem, gather appropriate information, determine potential causes, and specify alternative solutions




  • Able to occasionally travel for recruitment meetings, career fairs, and customer meetings maintain a flexible work schedule.




  • Excellent computer skills in Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
