Diverse Staffing is now accepting Electrician Apprentice applicants for immediate hire for a temporary position. In this job, you will work for our client in Indianapolis, IN. This position pays up to $11.00/hr. and is a 1st shift position. You will report to work between 6:00 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Our client is a full service electrician for Indianapolis and the surrounding communities.

A Electrician Apprentice for our team on this assignment will assist in the performance of various construction tasks, to include electrical installation.

The following are examples of some of the tasks you may be asked to perform daily working at this position:

    • Assist with measuring, cutting and bending wire and conduit

    • Strip insulation from wire ends using hand tools

    • Examine electrical units for loose connections and broken insulation and correct accordingly

Job Requirements

    • Previous construction experience necessary

    • Electrical experience preferred

    • Good attendance record

    • Reliable transportation to arrive at work on time

    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

    • Grasp, grip, reach, pull, push, bend, squat, kneel or balance

    • Walk, stand, and/or sit throughout an entire shift as appropriate

    • Ability to work well with others in a team environment
