Job Description

Diverse Staffing is currently seeking Forklift Operators for immediate hire. You will work at a client facility on the eastside of Indianapolis, IN. This position pays $12.00 per hour to start as a temp-to-hire associate. You will be scheduled first shift, which for this client means a 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM schedule. However, overtime will occasionally be required. You will need to have your own reliable transportation and the flexibility to stay over as needed for this assignment.

A Forklift Operator for our team on this assignment should have experience driving a "Order Picker" in a warehouse environment. You also should be familiar with using RF Scanning equipment.

Some of the tasks you can expect on a day-to-day basis include:

  • Manual pick for shipping

  • Order picker Forklift operation

  • General warehouse labor such as sorting, stacking, wrapping and moving boxes and other packages or materials

  • Keeping a clean work area

Job Requirements

• RF Scanner and order picker forklift experience

• Good attendance record

• Reliable transportation to arrive at work on time

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills

• Lift up to 40 lbs. as needed.

• Walk, stand, and/or sit for an entire shift

• Grasp grip, reach, pull, push, bend, squat, kneel or balance

• Ability to work well with others in a team environment
