Diverse Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Recruiter for the position of Sourcing Services Specialist II - Government Services at our corporate headquarters in Indianapolis, IN. This is a full time salaried position with un-capped commission potential. Base rate for this position will be $40,000 to $50,000 per year based on experience plus an un-capped commission. Total compensation could result in $60,000 to $100,000 per year based on performance. The Sourcing Services Specialist will have a standard work schedule of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday but should be prepared to work outside of normal business hours as needed to support team goals. Laptop and Phone reimbursement, holidays, PTO, VTO, 401K and insurance options are also available.


This position will split time between Sourcing for internal and external candidates with 50% dedicated specifically to our Government Services division, DiverseGOV.


DiverseGOV is a rapidly growing division of Diverse Staffing Services, Inc. This division provides recruiting and managed services to government clients across the country. To continue this growth, it is imperative that we champion effective relationships with current and future government contracting officers, and proactive recruiting and management of our government contracting staff.


We need an individual who can demonstrate thorough knowledge of the recruitment industry and service delivery within the government sector on a local, state, and federal level.


In this role, the Government Services Recruiter/ Sourcing Specialist  will work with the Government Services Team, and Sourcing Services Team to ensure capable talent is screened, and available for new and pending federal contracts managing the relationship between the on-site client supervisors and the Diverse staff assigned to the project.


We are excited to welcome an individual who has a proven success in staffing and recruiting at all levels. Experience working with the military, federal, state, and local government is preferred but not required. This job will require someone who can both recruit and process candidates in a fast-paced turn around environment, and manage multiple client and candidate relationships using their mastery of CRM and ATS systems and someone who enjoys working with a close-knit team.

Essential responsibilities:


•    Use an understanding of government contracting, various industrial, technical, and professional work environments and needs to effectively intake, confirm and fill open order requirements
•    Conduct routine quality and service calls in order to manage on-going relationship with government contract officers, on-site supervisors, and billable staff/contractors
•    Identify contract risks and resolve problems and managing employee relations in a timely and effective manner
•    Proactive communication and issue resolution with client and government team regarding status of future opportunities, open order requirements, employee or service issues
•    Manage other required deliverables for each contract (for example monthly activity reports)
•    Audit contractor to ensure deliverables are produced per the contract requirements
•    Manage administrative tasks involving onboarding process, contractor timecards, PTO
•    When necessary, work to resolve any payroll or billing issues with the Accounting team. Payroll Department
•    Create and maintain files for contracts and staff in applicant tracking system
•    Upload background checks and drug screen results in system of record.
•    Complete onboarding document scans, eVerify and conducts drug screens
•    Conducting video based orientations.

Job Requirements

Candidates must meet the following minimum job requirements to be qualified for the position:


•    Two or more years  full- desk recruiting experience
•    Excellent interpersonal skills; able to interact in a respectful manner with a diverse population of colleagues, clients and job applicants; leveraging active listening skills and paying attention to cues from reading their audience
•    Proven communication skills; able to convey one's message in a clear, concise and professional manner, considering one's  audience, in all forms of media (i.e. voicemail, phone, email, face-to-face) and handles conflicts and disagreements constructively
•    Proficient multi-tasking capabilities; able to prioritize multiple client job requisitions, software and business processes while remaining compliant with policies and delivering against deadlines
•    Proven problem solving skills; able to identify important aspects of a problem, gather appropriate information, determine potential causes, and specify alternative solutions
•    Strong attention to detail; demonstrating attentiveness to all aspects of a task or process, alert and accurate
•    Able to occasionally travel for recruitment meetings, college visits, and career fairs and maintain a flexible work schedule.
•    Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment and Microsoft Office software

The following represents additional preferred skills, competencies, experiences for consideration:


•    Bachelor's degree (preferably in human resources, business, or marketing) or equivalent work experience in a staffing agency, corporate recruitment or human resources staffing role
•    Previous management experience
•    Experience using employment software and online resources such as ATS, LinkedIn, Boolean Search, etc.
