Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining responsibility for the installation and troubleshooting of software
  • Configuring and deploying new hardware
  • Responding to Help Desk requests
  • Troubleshooting hardware and software issues either in-person or remotely
  • Remaining current with hardware and software used by the client
  • Providing regular training to all users, one-on-one or in a class environment
  • Maintaining consistent system performance
  • Coordinating work with vendor service providers
  • Communicating system-wide technology issues in a timely manner
  • Supporting the recording and live-streaming of events for the client (might involve travel)
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the director of technology

Job Requirements

  • Post-high school degree in computer technology or related field required
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to install and maintain hardware and software
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of various operating systems and Microsoft Office; must be able to use and teach advanced functions of each of the Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to analyze, configure and repair various hardware devices
  • Ability to solve hardware and software problems
  • Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to teach, make presentations, and prepare clear instructions
  • Ability to communicate directly with the court user to gather requirements and solve problems
  • Ability to work with a wide variety of people with various levels of computer knowledge and skills
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, have and maintain a clean criminal history, and must abide by the Employee Handbook
