Diverse Staffing is currently seeking a Help Desk resource for a local government position on our DiverseGOV team. The Help Desk resource hired by us, will work at the Louisville Water Company (LWC), in Louisville, KY 40202. Pay will be based on experience and skill set. Please indicate your wage requirement when applying. You will report to work Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

A Help Desk resource for our team at this client location will be asked to represent Diverse Staffing to perform the following responsibilities. This position will require an extensive background and credit check, so please be aware of that as well.

The following in an example of some of the tasks you will perform working at this position:

  • Perform operating duties efficiently and in the proper sequence to ensure that scheduled jobs are completed on time
  • Monitor the flow of the runs and initiate corrective action as needed
  • Answer and document phone calls and requests submitted through the end-user support process; analyzed and redirected to the responsible party as deemed appropriate to resolve the situation
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively maintain documentation and provide for necessary system audit procedures and reports
  • Record problems, such as down time and job failures, and actions taken
  • Maintain appropriate records and logs
  • Analyze equipment failures and contact vendor for repairs
  • Process specific end-user requests
  • Report any discrepancies between the documentation of the job and the actions taken during the processing of the job to ensure that change control has not been violated
