Diverse Staffing is now accepting Manufacturing Operator applicants for immediate hire for a temporary to hire position. In this job, you will work for our client at a facility in Indianapolis, IN. This position pays up to $16.00/hr. and is a 3rd shift position. You will report to work between 5:45 PM and 6:00 AM on a 3-2-2-3 (3 on 2 off, 2 on 3 off).

A Manufacturing Operator will support the manufacturing processes relative to the department/area in which they are assigned. Operate manufacturing equipment based on the established written procedures and work rules. Responsible for product quality and safety on the assigned line and for achieving production standards in both quantity and quality. Understand and follow cGMP and safety guidelines as required. Follow all safety policies and procedures. Perform light cleaning in order to maintain clean operating environment. Write maintenance summaries of assembly and workstation areas as needed. Execute quality checks in accordance to department/area requirements and document findings. Stocking, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal may be included. It is critical to be on time and available for each scheduled shift.

The following in is an example of some of the tasks you may be asked to perform daily working at this position:

  • Material handling

  • Run Assembly Equipment

  • Operate automated machines

  • Respond to machine alarms

  • The operator will work in the Parenteral Device Assembly and Packaging plant where parenteral products for domestic and international markets are assembled and packaged.

  • The primary purpose of the job is to assemble and package device products.

  • Responsible to maintain a safe work environment, working safely and accountable for supporting all HSE Corporate and Site Goals.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent plus relevant experience

  • At least 1 year of previous warehouse or Military experience.

  • Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Products).

  • Understanding of OSHA requirements.

  • Demonstrated Safety and attendance records


  • Preferences: Experience in an FDA or pharmaceutical environment, Assembly Line experience, SAP or PMX ex. (electronic warehouse management system), GMP experience

  • Work well with others in a team environment

  • Self-motivated and hardworking.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
