Diverse Staffing is currently seeking experienced Manufacturing Operators on all shifts. Our client, who is a leading, innovation-driven Pharmaceutical corporation that is committed to developing a growing portfolio of best-in-class and first-in-class pharmaceutical products to help people live longer, healthier and more active lives, has an immediate opening in the Indianapolis area.

Staff for these positions will work at a client facility in Plainfield, IN. This position pays $15.50 per hour and has a rotating schedule. You’ll work 3 days on and 2 days off. Then, you will work 2 days on and 3 days off. Day shift is 5:45 AM to 6:00 PM and Night Shift is 5:45 PM to 6:00 AM. 

A Manufacturing Operator for our team on this assignment will be asked to support the manufacturing processes relative to the department/area in which they are assigned at this customer.  

The following in an example of some of the responsibilities of a Manufacturing Operator assigned to this client:

• Operating manufacturing equipment 
• Quality and safety on the assigned line
• Achieving production standards in quality and quantity
• Understanding and follow cGMP and safety guidelines 
• Following all safety policies and procedures
• Performing light cleaning in order to maintain clean operating environment
• Writing maintenance summaries of assembly and workstation areas as needed
• Executing quality checks in accordance to department/area requirements and document findings
• Stocking, sweeping, mopping, and trash removal may be included

Job Requirements

  • Previous manufacturing and/or production experience.
  • Basic mechanical skills.
  • Understanding of cGMP.
  • Demonstrated documentation practices.
  • Computer literacy.
  • High school diploma or equivalent relevant experience. 
  • Position may require a certain amount of lifting and repetitive motion.
  • May be required to work in an area with exposure to potential allergens.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and clean room environment may apply.
  • Various shift schedules dependent on the requesting area.
  • May require pre-placement assessments.
  • Candidates must submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Mandatory job testing is required
