Diverse Staffing is now accepting Manufacturing Parts Installer applicants for immediate hire for a temporary to hire position.  In this job, you will work for our client at a facility in Indianapolis, IN. 46241. This position pays up to $15.00/hr. and is a 1st or 2nd shift position. You will report to work between 7:00 AM and 3:30 PM or 3:30 PM and 12:00 AM, Monday to Friday.

Their products include a wide range of innovative tarp systems, Side Kits, and accessories for dump and flatbed trailers. 

A Manufacturing Parts Installer for our team on this assignment will be responsible for installing and repairing a variety of trucking tarp systems. These systems include flatbeds, dumps, and a variety of other trailer types, under the supervision and direction of department production supervisor.

 The following in an example of some of the tasks you may be ask to perform daily working at this position: 

    • Performs installer and service/repair operations, using hand tools and electronic and pneumatic tooling.

    • Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the team lead and department supervisor.

    • Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.

    • Must be familiar with power tools in order to perform the tasks stated above.

    • Must be able to operate a stand-up and sit-down forklift

    • Must have aptitude to learn basic steel and aluminum MIG welding

Job Requirements

    • Minimum 1 year of Manufacturing related experience.

    • Ability to read a tape measure required

    • Experience with power tools (saws, drills, etc.)

    • Ability to read blueprints highly preferred.

    • Strong understanding of safety and quality processes.

    • Good attendance record

    • Reliable transportation to arrive at work on time

    • Basic reading, writing, and math skills.

    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

    • Walk, stand, and/or sit for an entire shift

    • Grasp, grip, reach, pull, push, bend, squat, kneel or balance

    • Ability to work well with others in a team environment
