Job Description


Diverse Staffing is currently seeking Material Handlers in Lebanon, IN.  This position pays $13.00/hour and is a first shift temporary to hire position, Sunday through Saturday.
 
A Material Handler for our team on this assignment will work for one of the leading suppliers of retail food products.



Here are a few  of the day-to-day tasks you could expect in a position like this:



  • Packaging food product into boxes for shipment.

  • Produce in-house products to daily par levels, as specified on the production sheets. 

  • Complete production and spoilage records. 

  • Follow department procedures for preparing, storing, rotating, and stocking of product. 

  • Maintain a clean and well-organized work area. 

  • Follow and comply with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.

Job Requirements


  • Ability to follow a production schedule and prioritize tasks 

  • Ability to follow directions and established procedures 

  • Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness 

  • Good communication skills 

  • Able and willing to lift up to 25 lbs. as needed

  • Able to stand for 12 hours at a time 

  • Able and willing to work in environments related to outside temperatures
