Diverse Staffing is currently seeking Press Operators. Staff for these positions will work at a client facility in Edinburgh, IN, this is a temporary to hire position. This position pays $14.00/hour and is a second shift. Second shift reports in at 4:30 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday. Overtime may include weekends.



Our client is a privately held company in Edinburgh, IN and is a categorized under automotive stampings manufacturers. Established in 2009 and incorporated in Indiana.



A Press Operator for our team on this assignment will be responsible for safely performing machine setups and operating the mechanical press line with coil handling equipment.  You will also control and adjust the functions and settings of machines and will be responsible for ensuring products meet our quality with regard to assembly specifications.




  • Set-up and operate mechanical press line with coil handling equipment




  • Perform machine set-ups as needed when the production schedule demands.




  • Trouble shoot machines and adjust the functions and settings of machines




  • Perform necessary quality inspections to ensure that parts meet guidelines




  • Test the operation of machines periodically to guarantee their smooth running




  • Perform preventative and regular maintenance on press to ensure that their operational life is extended




  • Conduct operations in a manner that promote safety. Compile with OSHA and MDSD Standards.




  • Participate in 5S activities

Job Requirements



  • High School Diploma or GED; technical degree preferred




  • 1+ years previous relevant experience in a manufacturing environment




  • Prior stamping or press experience desired




  • Working knowledge of mechanical press




  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal




  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team




  • Analytical and problem solving skills




  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts desired




  • Compliance with all health and safety regulations, policies and procedures




  • Attention to detail
