Job Description

Diverse Tech Staffing is working to add an IT recruiter to our team in Indianapolis, Indiana. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, interviewing, and presenting qualified candidates for contract and direct hire positions to clients, and providing an exceptional experience to all candidates throughout every step of the recruiting and on-boarding process.

This individual will develop effective recruiting strategies to source technical and professional candidates, while also forming relationships with clients to identify and tend to their hiring needs. This is a role for an individual who takes full advantage of growth opportunities and has the passion to hit the ground running with a dynamic development team. The role is very well compensated, base + commission with a great comprehensive benefits package.

Essential duties of this position:

  • Identify qualified candidates through proactive sourcing using a variety of tools
  • Perform telephone interviews and technical screenings
  • Implement functional sourcing plans while assisting with functional sourcing plan development
  • Coordinate interviews, present qualified candidates to clients, and complete candidate onboarding
  • Ensure accurate and complete documentation in the ATS system
  • Work with hiring team to determine priority positions and drive the review of qualified candidates
  • Comply with policies, procedures, guidelines and all available technology and tools
  • Communicate effectively with clients to make sure expectations are met consistently
  • Support other recruiters with special projects

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have at least two years of relevant IT recruiting experience
  • Must have a strong understanding of the fundamental elements of technology and professional services
  • Ability to perform and excel on a closely knit team and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must understand how to prioritize projects and create business relationships in an effective and thoughtful way
  • Must know how to utilize social media such as LinkedIn and Twitter to locate and attract talent
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
  • Must want to work with a highly driven team and to make an impact in their role and in their competitive field
