Diverse Tech Staffing is currently interviewing senior level QA professionals for a full-time direct hire position. Our client is seeking a highly motivated individual to join their team as a Senior QA Analyst. This position is with the client’s Software Delivery team. The Senior Software QA Analyst leads a group of Software Quality Assurance Analysts who own the software quality assurance process and execution for this financial institution located in Indianapolis, IN. The quality assurance process includes the creation and evolution of a software testing and test environment management methodology. The position’s primary focus will be effectuating efficient testing while maintaining and increasing the quality of software deliverables.

A Senior QA Analyst for this client will typically have the following tasks and responsibilities:

•         Leads team members

•         Responsibilities include mentoring, providing technical leadership, analyzing projects and assigning tasks, establishing project milestones and leading peers toward completion of milestones

•         Acts as liaison with Business Information Analyst, PMO, software development staff and users to define necessary testing strategy, test plans, and/or automated testing suite

•         Defines, implements and oversees the software testing processes including:

Ø  Test planning

Ø  Test case design and development

Ø  Test execution and management

Ø  Test environment management

Ø  Test automation

Ø  Performance testing

Ø  Defect tracking process

Ø  Testing metrics

Ø  User Acceptance Testing facilitation

•         Works with users and other project team members to develop priorities and schedules

•         Keeps users informed of the status of their projects

•         Assists team members in developing detailed plans for completing assignments

•         Coordinates and schedules activities with other IT management and staff when departmental dependencies occur

•         Reports to Delivery Managers on projects pending or in progress and on problems with production systems

•         Reports all project team activities for the month to the manager

•         Acts as a liaison on behalf of FHLBI with third party vendor technical staff to ensure FHLBI interests are met

•         Consults with Bank personnel in selection of hardware and software, development of applications, use of programming tools, etc.

Job Requirements

•         BS in Computer Science required

•         Minimum of 1 to 4 years’ experience leading Quality Assurance and/or Development teams

•         Business experience with financial or accounting systems; or equivalent combination of education and IT support of financial systems

•         Experience creating testing strategy and executing testing for large scale projects

•         Experience with Oracle database technology specifically PL/SQL and SQL Server/T-SQL.

•         Knowledge of QuickTest Professional and Quality Center

•         Experience with all Microsoft Office products

•         Project planning and estimating skills, experience leading others in financial system development projects

•         Experience with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and agile methodology

•         Must possess the ability to deal with people at various organizational levels.

•         Good oral and written communication skills

•         Must not have been convicted on any civil or criminal charge that would suggest a risk to Bank security

•         Ability to work full time
