Diverse Staffing is currently seeking experienced Recruiters for the Staffing Services Specialist II position to support tremendous growth nation-wide. Staff for these positions work for Diverse Staffing at our Indianapolis, IN Recruiting Center. This is a full-time, direct hire position and will pay a base salary plus commission and incentives. This position requires flexibility in work hours as needed beyond the 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday schedule. Wednesday evenings until 7:00 PM and some Saturdays may be scheduled as well.



The Staffing Services Specialist II is a key role within the Indianapolis Recruiting Center. You will be responsible for providing best-in-class service to customers and temporary employees by consulting with customers regarding business needs and areas for improvements, as well as building and strengthening relationships with key customers in conjunction with the Business Development Managers.



As a Staffing Services Specialist II at Diverse Staffing, you will be responsible for order fulfillment through creation of effective sourcing strategies, recruitment, pricing, total cost of service management, order fulfillment, client relations, and employee relations.  In addition, as a more senior level specialist, you will be expected to share your best practice knowledge with your colleagues and participate in the delivery of new talent training. Your performance level is a key determinant of Diverse Staffing’s reputation in the marketplace.



About the Role



• Understanding our clients’ industries, work environments and needs to effectively intake, confirm and fill open order requirements


• Managing the order life cycle and meeting customer expectations


• Resolving problems in a timely and effective manner


• Developing further business and strengthening relationships through quality delivery against customer needs and expectations


• Partnering with branch Business Development Managers to pro-actively marketing candidates


• Partnering with the Business Development Manager and/or Branch Manager to visit each client to ensure ability to thoroughly represent clients to staffing specialist team


• Serve as a coach and mentor to less experienced staffing specialists on your team


• Recruiting, sourcing, screening & interviewing, hiring, training, and assignment of employees


• Understanding our clients’ industries, work environments and needs to develop effective sourcing strategies, screen, and job profile with prospective candidates


• Build and maintain an effective sourcing network through industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, colleges and employees; participating in events representing Diverse Staffing and coordinating recruiting initiatives and job fairs.


• Identification of new sources for both active and passive candidates


• Conducting orientation for our company and our customers


• Resolving problems and managing employee relations in a timely and effective manner


• Proactive communication and issue resolution with customers and Business Development Managers regarding status of open order requirements, employee or service issues.

Job Requirements

About You



• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in human resources, business, or marketing) or equivalent work experience in a staffing agency, corporate recruitment or human resources staffing role


• One or more years recruiting experience and previous management experience


• Excellent interpersonal skills; able to interact in a respectful manner with a diverse population of colleagues, clients and job applicants; leveraging active listening skills and paying attention to cues from reading their audience


• Proven communication skills; able to convey one’s message in a clear, concise and professional manner, considering one’s audience, in all forms of media (i.e. voicemail, phone, email, face-to-face) and handles conflicts and disagreements constructively


• Proficient multi-tasking capabilities; able to prioritize multiple client job requisitions, software and business processes while remaining compliant with policies and delivering against deadlines


• Proven problem solving skills; able to identify important aspects of a problem, gather appropriate information, determine potential causes, and specify alternative solutions


• Strong attention to detail; demonstrating attentiveness to all aspects of a task or process, alert and accurate


• Able to occasionally travel for recruitment meetings, college visits, and career fairs and maintain a flexible work schedule.


• Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment and Microsoft Office software


• Experience and proficiency with recruitment sourcing tools/engines – CareerBuilder, LinkedIn, etc.


Experience and proficiency with job advertisement design and placement
